Rule 6243. (1) A heat-sealing machine shall be equipped with a device as prescribed by the provisions of R 408.16225. (2) A punch press that is used for die cutting plastic shall be guarded as prescribed by the provisions of R 408.16236(2). (3) A printing press that is used for die cutting shall be equipped with an effective device which restricts or removes the operator's hands from the point of operation at each closing. (4) A machine that uses rotary cutters to cut and shape plastic shall have the point of operation enclosed.
