R 408.17440 Personal alert safety system (PASS).

Rule 7440. An employer shall provide and enforce the use of a PASS device to each employee utilizing a self-contained breathing apparatus while engaged in structural firefighting operations. PASS devices shall meet or exceed the requirements of NFPA 1982: "Standard on Personal Alert Safety Systems (PASS)," 1998 edition, as adopted in R 408.17405.
