R 408.19001 Scope.

Rule 9001. (1) These rules establish the minimum requirements for the practices and procedures to protect employees from the hazards associated with entry into permit- required confined spaces. (2) The provisions of these rules shall be applied unless they conflict with specific requirements for confined space entry in any other standard. (3) The regulations adopted in these rules do not apply to the construction industry, agricultural operations, or shipyard employment.
