R 408.41861a Location of containers.

Rule 1861a. (1) Containers shall be in a suitable ventilated enclosure or otherwise protected against tampering. (2) The quantity of flammable liquids kept in the vicinity of spraying operations shall be the minimum required for operations and should ordinarily not exceed a supply for 1 day or 1 shift. (3) Bulk storage of portable containers of flammable liquids shall be in a separate, constructed building detached from other important buildings or cut off in a standard manner. (4) Containers shall be upright upon firm foundations or otherwise firmly secured. (5) The possible effect on the outlet piping of settling shall be guarded against by a flexible connection or special fitting. (6) LP-gas containers with a water capacity per container of more than 125 gallons shall be located a minimum of 10 feet from the nearest building or group of buildings when in use.
