R 425.23 Rock banks.

Rule 23. (1) Pit banks in rock shall not have a prescribed angle of slope, but precautions shall be taken to provide adequate safety. (2) Where, upon termination of mining operations, a body of water of sufficient area and depth results which is used for residential, recreation, or wildlife purposes, if natural conditions do not exist, portions of the solid rock bank shall be stepped or other measures taken to permit a person to escape from the water.
