R 299.9604 Facility design and operating standards.

Rule 604. The owner or operator of a treatment, storage, or disposal facility shall design, construct, operate, and maintain all the following: (a) A run-on control system capable of preventing flow onto the active portions of the facility during peak discharge from not less than a 24-hour, 25-year storm. (b) A runoff management system to collect and control not less than the water volume resulting from active portions of the facility from a 24-hour, 100-year storm. (c) Systems to prevent hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents from escaping into the soil, directly or indirectly into surface water or groundwaters, or uncontrolled into drains or sewers.
