Rule 1118. (1) The supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor may require periodic gas analyses to determine hydrogen sulfide concentration. (2) A permittee of a well shall make a second gas analysis 1 year after the date of the initial analysis required in R 324.1117(2). Further gas analyses shall be required only at the request of the supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor. (3) A permittee of a well shall notify the supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor before the sampling and analysis required in subrules (1) and (2) of this rule. (4) A permittee of a well shall report, in writing, the results of a gas analysis required by the supervisor or authorized representative of the supervisor to the supervisor within 1 month of the date of the analysis. The report shall state the methods of sampling and analysis used.
