The district courts are deemed open at all times for the purpose of filing any proper document, issuing and returning or certifying process, and making motions and orders. Unless otherwise ordered, the courts are deemed open at all times, except legal holidays, for the transaction of any other business that may be presented. The court administrator's office, with the court administrator or a deputy in attendance, must be open during business hours on all days except Saturdays, Sundays, or legal holidays. (Amended effective July 1, 2015.)
