KNOWLEDGE TEST FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE REINSTATEMENT
An applicant who applies for license reinstatement after a loss of driving privileges for an alcohol- or controlled substance-related offense under former or current Minnesota Statutes, section 169.121 , 169.123 , 169A.20 , 169A.52 , 169A.54 , or 171.17 , must pass a test of the applicant's knowledge of: A. the effects of alcohol and other drugs on the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and legally; and B. the legal penalties and financial consequences resulting from violations of laws prohibiting the operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
