HOSPITALIZATION OF A DETAINEE

Subpart 1. Policy. Each facility must have a policy for admission of a detainee to a hospital on the recommendation of the attending physician. Subp. 2. Guarding of detainee. When a detainee requires hospitalization, the detainee must be guarded 24 hours a day unless the detainee is not in need of supervision or the detainee is medically incapacitated in the opinion of the attending physician.
