PREVENTIVE HEALTH SERVICES

Subpart 1. Written plan for personal hygiene. The facility administrator shall develop and implement a written plan for personal hygiene practices of all detainees with special assistance for those detainees who are unable to care for themselves. Subp. 2. Delousing materials. Delousing materials and procedures must be approved through consultation with trained medical personnel. Subp. 3. Bathing. A detainee must be permitted daily washing. Upon request, detainees shall receive personal hygiene items including, at a minimum, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and, if appropriate, feminine hygiene items. Subp. 4. [Repealed, 39 SR 1203]
