Subpart 1. Written statement. A facility must have a written statement specifying the system used to regularly count the number of residents in the facility. Subp. 2. Frequency of counts. There must be a resident count at least once each eight hours. Subp. 3. Master count board. A system for counting must include procedures that account for the total number of residents at any given time. Changes in the number of residents must be documented and reported immediately.
