PURPOSE AND APPLICABILITY

Subpart 1. Purpose. Parts 2960.0510 to 2960.0530 establish additional minimum standards that a facility providing shelter care services must meet to qualify for certification. Subp. 2. Applicability. Parts 2960.0510 to 2960.0530 apply to a unit of government, individual, corporation, limited liability corporation, partnership, voluntary association, other organization, entity, or controlling individual that operates a facility that provides shelter care services to a resident on a 24-hour-a-day basis. Parts 2960.0510 to 2960.0530 do not apply to foster care settings licensed according to parts 2960.3000 to 2960.3340 . Subp. 3. License requirements. Programs certified under this part must meet the requirements of parts 2960.0010 to 2960.0120 .
