DUTIES OF CONTRACTING ENTITY

A contracting entity is responsible for compliance with this part. A contracting entity must: A. maintain for at least three years, records of the amount of asbestos-containing material removed, enclosed, and encapsulated, during each calendar year, in each facility for which the contracting entity is responsible; and B. before any person begins work involving the enclosure, removal, or encapsulation of asbestos-containing material, inform that person, in writing, of the cumulative quantities of all asbestos-containing materials enclosed, removed, or encapsulated within a facility during the current calendar year, as of the date of the writing.
