Subpart 1. Storage of drugs. A nursing home must store all drugs in locked compartments under proper temperature controls, and permit only authorized nursing personnel to have access to the keys. Subp. 2. Storage of Schedule II drugs. A nursing home must provide separately locked compartments, permanently affixed to the physical plant or medication cart for storage of controlled drugs listed in Minnesota Statutes, section 152.02 , subdivision 3.
