LAUNDRY, SIZE AND LOCATION; NEW CONSTRUCTION

Subpart 1. Laundry. The laundry, if provided in the facility, must be sized and equipped to handle the laundering of all linen and personal clothing to be processed in the facility. Subp. 2. Entrance. The entrance to a soiled linen collection room or to a laundry processing room must be located away from resident living areas and the entrance to the kitchen. Door widths to laundry areas must allow for movement of equipment and linen carts.
