ORGANIZATION, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The council shall be organized and administered under the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section 15.059 , and the commissioner's policies relating to advisory councils. The council shall: A. advise the commissioner regarding environmental health specialist/sanitarian registration standards; B. advise the commissioner on enforcement of the environmental health specialist/sanitarian rules; C. provide for the dissemination of information regarding environmental health specialist/sanitarian registration standards; and D. review applications and recommend applicants for registration or registration renewal.
