LAVATORIES

Subpart 1. UPC section 407.3. UPC section 407.3 is amended as follows: 407.3 Limitation of Hot Water Temperature for Public Lavatories. Hot water delivered from public-use lavatories shall be limited to a maximum temperature of 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius). The maximum temperature shall be regulated by one of the following means: (1) a limiting device conforming to ASSE 1070/ASME A112.1070 /CSA B125.70; or (2) a water heater conforming to ASSE 1084. Subp. 2. UPC section 407.4 is deleted in its entirety.
