Equipment and piping used to apply chemicals to the water must be sized, designed, and of material that does not clog and is easily cleaned. Material must be resistant to the action of the chemicals used. Protective equipment recommended by the chemical manufacturer as necessary for the safe handling of any chemicals used must be provided.
