ORGANIC HEART DISEASE

Subpart 1. General. For permanent partial disability due to organic heart disease, the disability of the whole body is set forth in subpart 2. Subp. 2. Heart ratings. The following ratings may be applied only after a compilation of a patient's complete history and a physical examination. Testing must include chest X-ray and electrocardiogram. The testing may include echocardiography, exercise testing, and radionuclide studies. The following table sets forth symptoms of organic heart disease. The percentage of disability of the whole body is determined by the symptoms present.
