INSURANCE BULLETIN 25-03 Change in Producer Examinations Issued: May 7, 2025 The following Bulletin is issued by the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (“Department”) to inform and educate the reader on the specified issue. It does not have the force and effect of law, is not an evaluation of any specific facts or circumstances, shall not be considered a statement of general applicability and is not binding on the Department. Nelson, Director Re: Change in Producer Examinations The Department issues this Bulletin to notify resident producers, prospective resident producers and insurance companies regarding an immediate change to the process for insurance producer examinations in the State of Missouri. Effective immediately, those Missouri residents seeking to schedule an insurance examination may only take the test in a physical testing center. OnVue online proctoring, through PearsonVue, is no longer available for new reservations. Scheduled OnVue appointments will be honored through May 18, 2025; all other OnVue appointments scheduled on or after Monday, May 19, 2025, will need to be rescheduled for a physical testing center. The Department sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience to those who had planned to utilize the OnVue online proctoring.
