License Denial for Suspension, Revocation, Disqualification, or Cancellation
PURPOSE: This rule establishes the basis for denial of a Missouri
driver license when the applicant is suspended, revoked,
disqualified, or canceled in this or any other state.
(1) Every applicant for a Missouri driver license or permit,
including applicants for renewal or transfer, shall be checked
through the National Driver Register and other records
available to the director to determine the person’s license
status in all states.
(2) Any person shown in the records of the National Driver
Register or other records available to the director as suspended,
revoked, disqualified, or canceled in this or any other state
shall be denied a Missouri driver license until such time that
the suspension, revocation, disqualification, or cancellation
has been cleared.
