Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund

PURPOSE: This rule describes the requirements for use of the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund for demonstrating financial responsibility. (1) An owner or operator may satisfy part of the financial responsibility requirements of 10 CSR 26-3.093 for underground storage tanks (USTs) located in this state from the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund. In addition, any other combination of mechanisms may be used to supplement coverage provided by the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund so that the sum of the mechanisms provides the required amount of assurance.
