Reporting CHRI to MCRR Via Electronic Medium

PURPOSE: This rule establishes a procedure for prosecuting or circuit attorneys, custody agencies and court clerks to follow when those agencies and persons choose to report criminal history record information to Missouri Criminal Report Repository via electronic medium. (1) Prosecuting or circuit attorneys, custody agencies and court clerks have the capability to develop a system of reporting criminal history record information (CHRI) via electronic medium to Missouri Criminal Report Repository. Those agencies planning to implement this system should contact the Criminal Records Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Arrangements will be made for your department’s personnel and personnel from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Information Systems Division to develop the necessary interface to allow for the reporting of the required data elements. (2) All systems developed for the reporting of CHRI electronically must be approved by the Criminal Records Advisory Committee.
