301.116. Records required to be kept by service agents, time period — records open for inspection. — 1. Every licensee shall maintain for three years a record of: (1) Date of application of certificate of title of vehicles; (2) Name and address of the owner; (3) Name of the manufacturer; (4) Vehicle identification number and year of manufacture; (5) Style of vehicle; (6) Odometer setting. 2. Any record kept pursuant to subsection 1 of this section shall be open to inspection by any authorized representative of the department, member of the Missouri highway patrol or any authorized peace officer during reasonable business hours.
