315.028. Sewage and wastewater treatment. — 1. Sewage and wastewater treatment and disposal shall be accomplished in a manner so as to not create a health hazard, pollute or contaminate groundwater, or create a nuisance. 2. Sewage and wastewater treatment systems with a discharge shall be installed and maintained in compliance with the laws and/or regulations of the department of natural resources.
