All Mississippi licensed property and casualty insurance companies shall promptly reply to these requests by mailing a copy of the loss runs to the insured. Please be advised that the failure to provide the company loss runs or the failure to proceed with due diligence in providing this information will be considered a violation of the Mississippi Fair Trade Practices Act, specifically Mississippi Code Ann. Section 83-5-45 (Rev. 1999). Mississippi law provides for a $5000.00 fine, per violation, and this Department will vigorously pursue all reported and substantiated violations.
