General

General In furtherance of Mississippi Code Ann., Section 75-49-11, the Commissioner, acting through the State Chief Deputy Fire Marshal and the Factory-Built Home Division of the Mississippi Insurance Department, is hereby charged with the administration of this Regulation. He may make, amend, alter, or repeal the general rules and regulations of procedure for carrying into effect all provisions of this Regulation and for obtaining statistical data respecting Factory-Built manufactured, mobile, and modular homes. The Commissioner, acting through the State Chief Deputy Fire Marshall and the Factory-Built Home Division of the Mississippi Insurance Department, may prescribe means, methods, and practices to make such provisions effective. Further, the Commissioner, acting through the State Chief Deputy Fire Marshall and the Factory- Built Home Division of the Mississippi Insurance Department, may make such investigations and inspections as in his judgment are necessary to enforce and administer this Regulation.
