Oral Opinions. Oral or informal opinions by the staff of the Division as to the applicability of the Act and oral or informal representations by the staff of the Division concerning the status of filings made with the Division are not binding upon the Division. Requestors can obtain a written declaratory opinion from the Division by following the procedures described in the Secretary of State’s Rule on Declaratory Opinions.
