Purpose To simplify and improve the administration of the UCC by promoting uniform UCC filing procedures in the State of Mississippi and in the nation; A. To simplify the public’s ability to discover and understand the UCC filing procedures of the various states by establishing a uniform framework for describing the procedures; B. To increase public access to information; C. To increase public participation in the formulation of administrative policy and procedures; and E. The following terms shall have the respective meanings provided in these rules, Terms not defined in these rules, which are defined in the UCC, shall have the respective meanings accorded such terms in the UCC. Notwithstanding any of the preceding, the definitions applicable to section 604 of these rules shall follow the terms defined in § 1324 of the Food Security Act of 1985, P.L. 99498, and shall mean the same except as otherwise specified.
