Standard Postal Service Delivery to the Filing Office’s Mailing Address UCC documents delivered by this method will receive a filing time of 8:00 a.m. on the day of delivery if the filing office is open for business on the delivery day, even though the UCC document may not yet have been accepted for filing and may be subsequently rejected. A UCC document delivered after regular business hours or on a day the filing office is not open for business will have a filing time of 8:00 a.m. on the next day the filing office is open for business.
