Medical fees: Medical Dispute Resolution. The fees of physicians, hospitals, and other attendant parties must be a. reasonable and measured according to the employee’s need, and b. within the guidelines established by the Commission in its Medical Fee Schedule pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. Section 71-3-15 (3). The procedure for resolving fee disputes and other issues which arise from utilization, billing or payment of medical services is set forth in the Medical Fee Schedule, and is incorporated herein by reference. Please consult the most current edition of the Medical Fee Schedule for rules regarding fee and other dispute resolution. This Rule shall be in force and effect on and after January 18, 2018.
