Mileage

Mileage. Employer or carrier shall pay mileage at the rate authorized for state travel per Miss. Code Ann. Section 25-3-4 to: a. witnesses who are subpoenaed in a proceeding before the Commission or whose depositions are taken, b. claimants being interviewed by the Commission or an Administrative Judge for a compromise settlement or lump sum payment, and c. claimants requiring medical treatment or attendance as prescribed in the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Law. This Rule shall be in force and effect on and after January 18, 2018.
