Orders To Show Cause

Orders To Show Cause.
The Executive Director may issue an Order to Show Cause why a license, finding of suitability,
registration or approval granted by the Commission should not be limited, conditioned,
suspended or revoked or why the person licensed, found suitable, registered, or approved
should not be fined by the Commission. The Order to Show Cause must set forth the basic
facts alleged to constitute a violation of the Gaming Control Act or these regulations and notify
the person licensed, found suitable, registered or approved of his right to respond to the
allegations in writing within twenty (20) days of the receipt of the Order to Show Cause. The
time for response may be extended by the Executive Director upon written request. The
response shall be confidential but may be provided to the Commission or any hearing examiner
appointed by the Commission in subsequent disciplinary proceedings.
