Earwigging Prohibited

Earwigging Prohibited.
No person or party shall discuss or attempt to discuss with or in
the presence of a Commissioner or Administrative Judge the merits
of a claim which is pending before the Commission or Administrative
Judge or which is likely to be pending therein, except in pleadings,
motions, briefs, forms or other correspondence necessarily required
in the development and presentation of a claim to the Commission or
Administrative Judge. No person or party shall attempt in any
manner, except as stated above, to influence the decision of a
Commissioner or Administrative Judge in any such matter. No
person or party shall send any written communication to a
Commissioner or Administrative Judge on any matter pending or
likely to be pending before the Commission or Administrative Judge
without simultaneously delivering or mailing a copy of that
communication to all other parties to the claim, or their legal
representatives.
Any person or party who violates the provisions of this Rule shall
be subject to sanctions as determined by the Commission or
Administrative Judge.
This Rule shall be in force and effect on and after January 18,
2018.
