A permit is required for any person proposing to conduct or cause to be conducted a regulated activity or an activity on a suitable site for water dependent industry. Applications may be submitted electronically through the Wetlands Permitting Portal (Portal) or by using the Joint Application and Notification Form (Application Form). The Portal and the Application Form can be accessed by visiting the Department’s web site for the Bureau of Wetlands Permitting at https://dmr.ms.gov/permitting/. The Application Form can also be obtained by: A. Calling the Department’s Bureau of Wetlands Permitting at 228-523-4106; B. Visiting the Department's Bureau of Wetlands Permitting at 1141 Bayview Avenue, Biloxi, Mississippi. MISS. CODE ANN. §§49-27-7, 49-27-9 and 49-27-23.
