Children under the age of 19 are eligible for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), depending on the child’s age, household income and other factors of eligibility. B. Children under age 19 have continuous eligibility for a twelve (12) month certification period unless an “early-out” termination reason is met.
