Non-Covered Services A. Services provided in a geriatric psychiatric unit of a hospital. B. Services rendered to a Medicaid beneficiary and billed by a physician employed by or contracted with the hospital. C. Elective cancellation of procedures not related to the beneficiary’s medical condition. 1. Surgical or other procedures canceled due to scheduling conflicts of the operating suite or physicians, beneficiary request, or other reasons not related to medical necessity. 2. Additional room and board days required due to rescheduling.
