Provider Qualifications
Psychiatric services described in this chapter must be provided by a licensed physician (medical
doctor or doctor of osteopathy) who is board-certified in psychiatry or by a licensed Psychiatric
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Rules included in this chapter do not apply to
psychologists.
