Freedom of Choice

Freedom of Choice
A. Participants have the right to freedom of choice of providers for Family Planning Waiver
(FPW) services in accordance with Miss. Admin. Code Part 200, Rule 3.6.
B. Participants have freedom of choice to:
1. Receive or reject FPW services,
2. Choose FPW providers, and
3. Choose any method of birth control, including sterilization.
C. Participants must not be coerced to employ or not to employ any particular method of birth
control, including sterilization.
D. Providers must ensure that information is given in such a way as to encourage and support
freedom of choice.
