MULTIPLE AND DUAL COMPLETIONS.
(a) No well shall be permitted to produce either oil or gas from different pools through the
same string of casing and no well shall be completed with the casing open to one (1) pool and the
tubing open to another, unless a permit is obtained from the Board after notice and hearing.
(b) No well shall be permitted to produce from different pools until the pools have been
defined and a permit is obtained from the Board after notice and hearing. When an application
for a permit is filed to multiply complete after the pools have been so defined, the Supervisor
shall have the authority, in his discretion, to issue a temporary permit which shall be good for a
period of forty-five (45) days or until a permit shall be authorized or denied by the Board after
notice and hearing.
(c) After the pools have been defined, applications to multiply complete may be presented
on affidavit unless there is an objection to such procedure by the Board or any interested party.
If such an objection is not filed with the Supervisor at least five (5) days prior to the date for
hearing, the applicant shall have the right to a continuance until the next regular meeting of the
Board.
