Salaries and Wages In association with the budgetary process of the Port Authority, the salary ranges for positions at the Mississippi State Port Authority shall be fixed by the Board of Commissioners based on recommendations of the Executive Director. Salary ranges for MSPA positions shall be established on the basis of salary schedules in effect at other smaller deep water ports and at appropriate City, County, State, and Federal Governmental agencies. All salaries are per annum and are paid biweekly. The overall administration and setting of salaries for the employees of MSPA shall be under the Executive Director, but shall be consistent with the salary ranges approved and adopted by the Port Commission. The salary of the Executive Director shall be under the control of the Port Commission.
