DEFINITIONS: 1. Contraband – Any items not authorized by Mississippi Code, MDOC policy, procedure, or post order. 2. Identification (ID) – Valid photo identification denoting vital statistical information specific to an individual. Forms of ID include: driver’s license, state ID, or Federal ID. 3. Visitor – Any person entering a MDOC facility who is not an authorized agency staff member, contract employee, volunteer or consultant.
