Failure of a Reference to Respond The Board may find it necessary to correspond directly with a reference to seek clarification of the reference’s statements. If any reference fails or declines to cooperate with the Board within 30 days, all information submitted by the reference may be disregarded. Note: References are considered by the Board to include Professionals who bore the responsibility for actual work experience.
