Failure to apply or register. For firms required to, the absence of filing of the required application, failure to register on or before January 1, or satisfaction of this rule shall be construed to mean that no entity exists as an authorized CPA firm for the practice of public accounting. In such case the Board may take disciplinary action against the firm’s members.
