Prohibition of Alcoholic Beverages. It shall be unlawful for any Person to possess or consume beer, wine, liquor or any other alcoholic beverage, including wine coolers, within any public park, public recreation area, public boat launching facility, public fishing pier, public parking area or other public area within the Reservoir Project Area not inundated by the waters of the Reservoir unless authorized in a special permit issued by the Board of Directors of the District. Persons engaged in the act of launching and/or loading or unloading a boat at a launch facility with sealed or closed containers of alcoholic beverages shall be exempt from this ordinance if it is otherwise legal to possess such beverages in the applicable county.
