Public Hearings

Public Hearings. For the purpose of these rules, "public hearing" means a hearing that is conducted by Commission and/or MDWFP prior to the adoption of a rule, regulation or action on a public notice and it does not refer to a regularly scheduled Commission meeting. Public hearings shall be conducted only when required by statute or when the Commission or MDWFP determines that public hearings are warranted to provide additional public input prior to the adoption of a rule, regulation or action on a public notice.
