Purpose

Purpose. The Mississippi Main Street Investment Grant Fund (MMSIGF) program, administered by the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA), is designed for making grants to municipalities to assist with maintaining and improving the viability of Revitalization Zones. The proceeds of a grant made to a municipality under this section may be used for maintaining and/or improving the viability of a Revitalization Zone through means deemed appropriate by the governing authorities of the municipality. The Mississippi Main Street Investment Grant Fund was authorized under Miss. Code Ann. § 57-1-601.
