Application Process. Initially, any local unit of government seeking funding should set up a meeting or conference call with the RIF staff. At this meeting or conference call, the following information should be presented: A. Project description B. Preliminary budget C. Source and use of funds Based on this meeting or conference call, the Community Services Division (CSD) may issue a letter inviting a RIF application. The letter will state the amount of RIF funds that can be applied for, and the requirements.
