Application Process. After completing this site evaluation process, MDA may then issue a letter inviting a Local Partner to apply for the grant. Applications must be submitted on a form prescribed by MDA and must include, at a minimum, a description of the eligible expenditures for which assistance is requested, the amount of assistance requested, the amount of matching funds to be provided by the eligible entity, and any other information required by MDA. Applications must be submitted with any accompanying documentation deemed necessary by MDA. The scope of site development work outlined in an application must align with the development plans developed by MDA and the potential applicant. Each application will be reviewed objectively on the merits of the proposed site development project and its potential for resulting in a highly competitive site. Grant recipients will be notified in writing of the funding decision.
